Rochelle Shicoff’s paintings are exhibited nationally and internationally.
She was the recipient of the Rome Prize Fellowship in Painting.
During that fellowship year, while painting in Italy, Rochelle also traveled throughout Europe and the Middle East
photographing the architecture, landscape, and historical sites.
Rochelle's artistic career includes a Fulbright nomination, numerous community grants, New York and Massachusetts Foundation grants, and various Residencies. She is currently a member of Gallery A-3 in Amherst, MA.
She co-authored The Mural Book: A Practical Guide for Educators, an engaging and useful text written specifically for
K-12 teachers, and published by Crystal Productions.

Seeing the Wind - Consisting of eleven 13’ tall painted aluminum totems with spinning animals on the tops, this work will be installed at the Mount Vernon Children’s Library in New York and was commissioned by ArtsWestchester, NY.
The Open Sky - Commissioned by Public Art for Public Schools of the NYC Department of Education and located at Sunset Park High School in Brooklyn, NY. this work consists of nine banners divided into three themed sets : Visual and Performing Arts, Health and Human Services, and Business and Entrepreneurship. Each three banner set measures 8’ X 6’.
